Sharing your goals also lets your boss know that you are serious about your job and that you have a plan for your life. These are qualities that bosses admire in employees and will give you the step ahead of your colleagues.
Apply for internal job postings
Sometimes that dream job doesn’t just fall on your lap and your dreams of being head-hunted seem like just a part of a wish list. The best action to take is to be proactive. Stay in the know on what vacancies there are within your company. If the vacancy fits your career goals, and current set of skills and qualifications, then you can apply.
